You will make a piece similar to the one featured above.

Membership

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Membership in the Society of Lady Makers is free and open to all people who would like to see more diversity in the maker’s movement. To become a member, simply sign up for our Meetup Group or sign up for our mailing list and print out a membership card.

SUPPORT
While we try to keep all of our events free or as inexpensive as possible to allow all people to attend our events, there are still expenses we incur running Society of Lady Makers. Your financial support allows us to “keep the lights on” and pay for our meetup dues and website hosting. Beyond that, dues help us to pay workshop instructors, provide food for events, and help to pay workshop costs for people unable to pay.

There are two ways that you can support us with financial contributions:

If you would like to support us with a monthly contribution, you can contribute to Society of Lady Makers through Open Collective.
All members who contribute at the $5 monthly support level and higher receive $5 off all workshops and paid events.

If you would like to make a one time contribution, you can make use the “chip in” function on meetup to show your support.
